I’ve recently started getting serious about long-term investing and have decided to include small cap mutual funds as a part of my portfolio. I’ve read that small cap funds can be a great wealth-building tool, especially if you invest consistently over a longer horizon. However, the high volatility and huge number of options make it confusing to figure out the Best Small Cap Mutual Funds to invest in for 2025.

A few names that keep coming up include Quant Small Cap Fund, Nippon India Small Cap Fund, and SBI Small Cap Fund. Each seems to have its strengths, but I’d really appreciate feedback from experienced investors on which small cap fund you personally prefer and why. Do you look for past performance, expense ratio, fund manager experience, or something else while selecting?

Along with choosing the right fund, I believe it’s equally important to invest through a reliable SIP platform. I’ve tried a couple of apps, but I’m still not sure which one qualifies as the Best Platform for SIP in terms of features, ease of use, charges, and support. For me, an ideal platform should offer paperless KYC, allow flexible SIP dates, and provide detailed tracking with performance analytics. Bonus points if it also provides fund recommendations and portfolio rebalancing tips.

I came across MySIPonline during my research. It looks promising and seems to focus specifically on mutual fund investments. Has anyone here used it? Would love to know how it compares with other platforms like Zerodha Coin, Groww, Paytm Money, etc.
