Hello! I recently purchased a Synology DS220+ NAS and encountered a problem: when connecting to the network and starting the device via find.synology.com, it does not show up. I tried rebooting the router and using a different cable, but to no avail. Maybe someone has encountered something similar and can suggest a solution? I would appreciate any help or advice!

The Synology DS220+ network storage is designed for home and small office use. It supports two hard drive bays, providing flexibility in configuring the volume and level of data protection. The device is equipped with an Intel Celeron processor, which ensures high performance in data processing. For setup and operation, we recommend that you read the official user manual
If your Synology DS220+ NAS does not show up when connected, it is important to check a few things. Make sure the device is connected directly to the router and not via a USB hub. Also, check that the indicators on the NAS show a normal state (for example, a green power indicator). For accurate diagnostics, you can refer to the detailed instructions at https://manuals.online/synology , where official guides on setting up and using the device are provided. It describes in detail the process of connection, network setup and troubleshooting. I personally recommend using these instructions even for basic procedures: they help to avoid mistakes and damage. If you doubt your skills, it is better to contact professionals. Following the guide and recommendations of the site, you can safely extend the life of the device and maintain its functionality.
