Make sure the needles are free to move independently. Loosen the collar until it is finger-tight to apply light pressure to the needles.

Elongate all the needles by applying pressing to the washer to move them beyond the pick end.

Apply pressure to the pick against a hard surface so that the needles are reset to their baseline height.

Insert the pick into the lock very carefully so that the picking needles map to the designated pin stacks.

Apply (slowly) turning torque in the left to right direction to the pick. The lock should pop-open up after that.
